Concussion!

 What a night!

Wednesday night, March 8th.  It had been a long day of sewing turtles and looking after Farah at night after Dennis had gone to bed.  It would be one more week before Dave and Cyndy got home and that I wouldn't feel the need to go and spend time with the poor girl at night!  Came up to plug in my computer after watching some youtubes down stairs and in the process of bending over, the chair tipped over and the telescope next to it tipped over as well onto my head!  Bang!  I knew in an instance that it would be a bad hit.  Couldn't move for a few minutes because of the pain.  Upset stomach and nausea.  Way to go girl at 11:30 at night time.  Woke Dennis up and he picked the chair up and watched if I could get up or not, and then went back to bed.

Wasn't too bad the next morning, but by the afternoon,  the headace wouldn't go away,  Pressure on the top of my head and a sore neck and tender spot on where the hit happened.

Friday, off to see doctor and then over to ER.  Poor Xyla had to look after me for the rest of the day.  Cat Scan!  No bleed, thank goodness, but a bad concussion!  No youtube too much, no reading, or exercise to over work the brain.  It has to heal.  So for the next few weeks I have to take it easy.  Oh what fun.  Oh and one of the eyes is bruised for sure and the other doesn't look to well either.

When I'm feeling better, I will take a picture of the turles I'm doing for Allison.  She doesn't know yet, but hopefully they will turn out just fine for her.  Love her lots.  She is our granddaughter! Miss Alberta no less.

Cheers, I think,  Love you all

 Grassy Creek!

Well I haven't been on since forever.  But this year has been quite the experience.

Bonnie K Hunter's new mystery is up and running.  So now to find some fabric from the ever ending scraps that multiply at my house.

New Mystery Quilt just about to get started. Black Friday Special!

Bonnie K Hunter's new mystery is just about to get started.  The Eh Provence!
Got the fabric:

I do have more yellow and I have selected my magneta will be a combination of all the other colors and larger print.  This is all from my stash.  Will not buy anymore fabric.  I ended up cleaning my sewing room yesterday to find the small part of my tri tools.  Found it.  Will have to make do with whatever ruler I have instead of ordering the new Bonnie's ruler.  It will be fun.  Will have to set this blog up for showing on Bonnie's blog site like I did last year.  Will have fun with everyone!  Cheers Everyone!

Clue number 3 under wraps!  This is going to be an interesting quilt!  You can't tell by this picture, but the whites have different patterns on them.  White on white!  Using all the scraps of them that I have.
The blocks on my wall are for another quilting project!  The crocuses and top block are from other quilters.  Trilliums are my block.  Going to be an exciting quilt year coming up!  http://quiltville.blogspot.ca/2015/12/mystery-monday-link-up-part-3.html

Ok I believe that it's only possible to post once a week on this link up.  Thanks Bonnie, I appreciate your response as to why I was having trouble to link this.  Great mystery so far.  Having fun.  Cheers, Arlis

I had trouble trying to figure out how to do this without a companion ruler and using just the easy angler ruler on the grey.  Finally figured out to nip both ends and then they line up great.  Problem that I had with this was that I cut the red the wrong length.  Go figure.  Learning curves are great!Bonnie K Hunter
