I'm doing what Bonnie suggested!   As a new clue comes out, start it up and then carry on later if you haven't finished before the next clue comes.  Here's the start of my clue #3

Retirement Quilt for Bill Pirie

My boss for the last 26 years has retired from work.  I made this quilt wall hanging to honor his achievements and to thank him for all that he has done not only for my family, but for those who have worked for him this last 40 years.  Told him that he had a famous picture of herring for Holland that came from the Grand Central Oyster Bar and Grill, Grand Central Station, New York, NY

Here is a small sample of the quilts that were made this year at our Annual Quilt Marathon that is held on Quadra Island.  The bottom picture is just of about half the amount of quilts that were done this year.  Because of weather, ladies from Campbell River and Cortes Island weren't able to attend, but I'm sure that there would have been more quilts shown.  Way to go Ladies!
These quilts will be sent to Vancouver Children's Hospital!  We are just one of the guilds that provides quilts for this hospital.  Also some of the quilts will be going to our Local Community program!  Generosity is such a value that most quilters share with their neighborhood!

First the material!

Meowth Guards the Stash!

I've been busy trying to get the two other quilts finished before I actually start to cut the fabric, but it is in all one place.  Will try and start this coming week, hopefully before #3 comes along.  Great to see how others are getting theirs done!  Cheers everyone, Arlis Scott.
